Make Plans Now to Attend Saints & Sinners 2009

Don’t let the crunch at the pumps and on airlines catch you by surprise: make plans now to attend next year’s event, May 14-17, for which we have already confirmed four magnificent authors.

Jess Wells Radclyffe
Ali Liebegott Mchael Thomas Ford

Jess Wells is the acclaimed author of thirteen volumes, the latest of which is the novel The Mandrake Broom. She will share her wisdom and experience in panels and gatherings throughout the weekend, as will another fantastic writer, Radclyffe. The two-time Lambda Literary Award-winner, author of over thirty lesbian novels, including the forthcoming Night Call, is a retired surgeon and publisher of Bold Stroke Books, a prominent LGBTQ publishing house based in New York. Michael Thomas Ford is our third exciting offering for next year. His contributions to fiction are legion, and he has books on sex, health and spirituality, as well as the incredibly popular and Lammie award-winning My Queer Life nonfiction series. And finally, Ali Liebegott, author of the Lammie-winning debut, The Beautifully Worthless, and a Lammie-winning sophomore novel, The IHOP Papers, will join us as well. Perhaps we’ll get to hear more about her current project, The Crumb People, an illustrated novel about post-September 11th obsessive duck feeders. Keep them all in mind on your next trip to the bookstore! As always, we will have many more great names, a huge selection of informative and inspirational panels, and the best parties since Mardi Gras.
