Are you looking for new opportunities to meet and hang out with young gay/bi guys? Would you like to help contribute to the development of a healthier and more robust gay and bisexual community here in New Orleans?

Re:Vision is an amazing opportunity for gay and bi guys, ages 18-35, to discover themselves and their community by planning social events, organizing volunteer opportunities, attending safer sex workshops and becoming leaders in an innovative new community building program.

Through successes such as the Gay Prom and “Healthy Eating for the Holidays,” the re:Vision project has become one of the most vibrant programs of its type in the nation. Lead by a team of outstanding young gay and bisexual guys who work together to form a Core Group, the re:Vision project participates in the NO/AIDS Walk and other fundraising efforts of the NO/AIDS Task Force.

Based on the idea that young gay and bisexual men are the best forces through which an HIV prevention message can be communicated to men of that age range, re:Vision creates a feedback loop through which young men actively educate their peers about safer sex and healthy lifestyle choices. By encouraging young men to take on an altruistic attitude, the re:Vision project allows gay and bi guys to help mold a healthy, energetic, and politically active community of men.

Re:Vision meets regularly at “The Space” on 2114 Decatur Street, which is located behind the Gay and Lesbian Community Center. Here, the group hosts events such as cook outs, game nights, free wi-fi parties and movie/logo nights to crowds of 15-50 guys of all ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

Re:Vision also hosts a ton of weekly events, like Movie Nights, Game Nights and new ideas are always welcome!
