NO/AIDS Task Force seeks to fill the position of Billing Specialist. The successful candidate will provide assistance to the Billing/Compliance Manager. The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of medical coding experience, strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Applications, proficient typing and data entry skills, excellent communication. Candidate should be detailed oriented.

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Team Leader

NO/AIDS Task Force seeks to fill the position of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Team Leader. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership to a six member PSH Team coordinating housing support services to targeted populations including: people living in homeless shelter systems or otherwise temporarily housed, homeless populations, the elderly, people with disabilities and people with a history of substance abuse or mental illness. Master’s degree in social work or other human services area and at least 2 years of experience in effective provision of services to members of one of the eligible populations required. A professional license (e.g. LMSW, LCSW, LPC) is required. LCSW and experience with homeless populations, the elderly and populations with disabilities preferred.

NO/AIDS Task Force is sponsoring a FREE AIDS Awareness Seminar and Volunteer Training Workshop on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at NO/AIDS Task Force 2601 Tulane Avenue, Suite 500 in New Orleans 2nd Floor The workshop will cover topics such as medical & psychosocial aspects of HIV/AIDS 101 & 201, risk reduction, psychosocial issues and a host of other topics.
